Hi,
I would ask this question to Neocrome.net but I asked couple of times and I'm tired of waiting. I was wondering if any of you know when will Olivier C. put 125 to Download section? I mean maybe he slipped out accidentaly some of you guys Anyways, even theories will be appreciated |

V125 will be available for download when it is released. No surprises.
So far we can be using v122beta3. |

Something has stopped him again. Maybe it's a chance for us to submit more patches, otherwise, I'm afraid, v125 won't bring any major changes (i.e. Subforums, Search 3.0, etc.).

I don't think that's a bad thing, to be fair, stable bug and vulnerability fixes are what I'm looking for, after all I think I can do myself subforums and advanced search system. For example sub forums are not more work than 1 hour. What I'm also curious about is, why did SED paused for this long? I mean I checked out News section and the longest break between two versions is this: Last build released April 2007. |

Probably you've been away for too long, majority of Neocrome community knows that Olivier has become a father, runs his business and has a lack of time and interest for Seditio.

He is father for a long time I've known.
I remember celebration posts about it. But seriously, what then ? I remember my youth, my father coming home about 1 am |

Well, I have no children, I have no family with me at all so I can't comment about that, but only bug fixes and little changes shouldn't take that long.

Blind acceptance is quick for sure. But Olivier doesn't accept code he hasn't proved himself. Which takes concentration and time.

Contributes sometimes. But mostly nothing, because they are not allowed to do anything that others (like me and you) can't do, besides more stars in their profile and access to the Team forum.

Hmm, this explains why there are major breaks between two versions.
But "trust-nobody" thing doesn't do any good for anybody, not Neuro not us. Take Spartan for example, I mean he does very quick and fast core hack about subforums, or you doing very good job about plugins (validation takes ages mostly) Thanks for the gentle answers and patience. |
